Prometheus has landed

as with the rest of the trailers / teaser trailers. nothing less than STUNNING.

as i had suspected, David is the one who appears to have discovered the orrery,
and for me, David is most likely the hypothetical "Prometheus" type character
in this brilliant looking film, just looking at David's giddiness at the spectacle
that is the star map room, i find it highly unlikely he'd leave that discovery
without taking him self a "souvenir" from that citadel

i really LOVE how Ridley chose to use stark / harsh lights to illuminate
the Engineer's craft, i mean, DAMN, that is EXACTLY what i had hoped for

it is in FACT the PROMETHEUS
craft that fatally collides with the Engineers ship high above the ground

thankfully,
all the rest of the imagery is still not quite pieced together in my mind

seems like that "fake / leaked" script that was on IMDB so long ago had
some definite parallels to what i've seen so far, fake or not, it seems to be
a bit in keeping with these AWESOME looking trailers

0:51- love this scene, where Kate Dickie's character is frozen by fear when something (space jockey?) is aproaching her.. Very Lambertish.. Also Dickie's characters is named as Ford now on IMDB. Wasn't it Mudow?

the trailer seems to suggest a focus on the actual slime we're all so familiar with dripping from the aliens. that would be brilliant if the film went into that. we would view the old alien films with another angle to it.

Cheers tar! The Prometheus trailer is the only trailer that made me watch it frame by frame. I admit it, I'm a geek and a fan. I can't wait for the premiere.

Yes sir that is a Xenomorph. There are Aliens references all over the trailer, the crescent ship is present in Alien, if you want to go see it again, and the strange alien in the chair shows up dead in Alien too. This is coming out as a prequel to Alien I'm beyond exited.

Speculation:
From the information I've heard in the past, that alien in the chair is the engineer of the Xenomorph, created as a weapon for them against some force that was threatening them. Kinda rocked my world when I was presented the idea that Xenomorphs were engineered.
